The Caffeine-Calorie Continuum

Whether we like it or not, we're all a little addicted to caffeine. It might be a latte to get your day going, an energy drink to get over that afternoon hump, or heavily leaded pre-workout. The reality is that we probably consume more caffeine each day than we're even aware of. As athletes, everything we put into our bodies is either working for or against our performance. So how do we get the jolt without totally destroying our diet? Check out the infographic below to see the caffeine calorie continuum. The X axis represents the amount of caffeine (in miligrams) in some of your favorite drinks, while the Y axis shows us the calorie equivalents of said drinks in relation to foods like Big Macs and blueberry muffins as well as the amount of exercise necessary to "burn off" your favorite beverage. Where does your special drink fall on the chart?
