Senior Sales Manager - Vancouver

We are a sports supplement brand that focuses on the CrossFit and weight lifting market. We are looking for a rockstar Sales Manager to join our team in the Vancouver office.

This role is ideal for someone already involved with the CrossFit market who loves spending their time interacting with the community. You will be responsible for monitoring, managing and building a team of CrossFit gym owners, coaches and athletes that make up our international sales team, while also building your own sales portfolio or gyms, online resellers, and other distributors both at home and abroad.

You must be creative in your approach to sales, love leading, thrive off social interaction and demonstrate initiative in the form of pride and ownership over what you do. You will be an entrepreneur at heart - and will be looking for a role that will support you in your desire to express yourself at work.

Responsibilities

  • Managing an existing portfolio of gyms and resellers, and working to build it
  • Managing a sales team (14 across N.America and Europe currently)
  • Managing distributor relationships (European and Australian for example)

Main duties

  • Build and implement a clear vision for Blonyx sales department with the CEO
  • Create and manage your own sales portfolio
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales targets for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume for regions and reps
  • Recruiting, orienting, and managing the ongoing training of sales staff
  • Meeting with staff weekly to help and support them and also review their progress
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
  • Being ready to jump in on any other projects we need help with. It's fun!

Sales Director Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, Management or similar field
  • 3+ Years minimum sales management experience
  • At least 2 years experience developing and managing a successful sales team
  • Financial performance metric analysis experience

  • Must be entrepreneurial with a real drive to succeed and develop your career

Salary

Base Salary of $50,000 basic plus commission (On target earnings will be $80K with above target earnings potential being significant for the rockstar you are)

Marketing Coordinator - Vancouver

1. Role Details

  • Supporting and executing marketing and media plans, events and campaigns
  • Planning, producing and posting social media content on multiple digital platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest)
  • Design, production and launch of new apparel lines to support the brand
  • End-to-end design and production of various marketing materials
  • Writing and editing content for blog posts, landing pages and other funnel marketing pieces.
  • Managing and producing photo and video content to be used for various campaigns
  • Experience in photography and videography is an asset
  • Basic graphic design work - minor edits and layout changes.
  • Supporting the execution of digital marketing and paid media campaigns
  • Planning and working small to large scale events ranging from photo shoots to national competitions
  • Assisting with the management and curation of content from our sponsored athletes

Personal Qualities

  • You will love a challenge and not be afraid of making mistakes in order to learn
  • We have a small team and everyone wears many hats, so you must not be afraid to take initiative when it comes to making decisions and starting new projects

Experience Required

  • Degree or diploma in marketing, communications or equivalent
  • Experience with Adobe creative suite (Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, Lightroom)
  • Photography, videography and graphic design skills are an asset
  • Understanding of working in the fitness industry is ideal
  • Crossfit experience and understanding is ideal but not a must

  • Lead the charge on Blonyxs’ digital marketing efforts. Including campaign design, content creation, SEO, Google Adwords set up and reporting and budget management
  • Marketing funnel development
  • Overseeing the content creation strategy including editing and publishing
  • Raise our corporate profile through PR and offline marketing tactics
  • Manager the design, production and launch of new apparel lines to support the brand
  • Oversee our sponsored athlete program including managing our remote athlete manager
  • Marketing collateral development and production

Personal Qualities

Blonyx Sales Manager - Various US Regions

Are you an outgoing and driven CrossFit fanatic who has experience in, and a talent for sales? Are you excited by the prospect of becoming more involved in the CrossFit community in your region?

Interested in generating significant income combined with the flexibility in work schedule to spend more time training, competing, travelling, coaching, or with the family?

We are looking for new sales managers to represent our company in regions across the USA.
You will be joining our team of 10+ sales managers that includes top level games athletes, gym owners and head coaches.

Your job will be to build Blonyx sales within your US Region through effective wholesaler relationship building and ongoing management

Your day-to-day activities will include:

  • Reaching out to box owners, coaches, opinion leaders and athletes in your region (call, meet, train with, email, facebook, twitter, etc.)
  • Build relationships with these new and existing contacts to create and nurture wholesale sales of Blonyx products (full cycle, from lead generation to product testing and ongoing customer management)
  • Quickly follow up with leads we generate for you (from social media, online order lists and other marketing)
  • Generate leads creatively through customer referral, networking, event attendance and gym visits
  • Using social media strategically to attract interact with and reach out to potential new customers (e.g. new box owners, athletes etc.)Build in-box sales through site visits, joining classes, and running in-box events as necessary to build sales
  • Select and lead a team of "in-box" advocates to help build sales within CrossFit gyms on your behalf. These are usually influential athletes
  • CRM/sales pipeline and target management
  • Helping existing wholesale customers educate their staff and successfully introduce Blonyx products to their athletes (remotely or in person) to build value of each account
  • Competition attendance for networking and sales purposes
  • Attend weekly check in sales calls with HQ and monthly company sales meetings (all online)
  • Take part in monthly sales competitions and challenges amongst the team
  • Representing Blonyx within the community... becoming "That guy / girl" from Blonyx
  • Having an awesome time and contributing to our team of awesome individuals

About you:

  • Someone who is involved in and understands the CrossFit market and even beyond (weightlifting, powerlifting etc.)
  • A proven track record in sales, ideally relationship based selling to decision makers (B2B)
  • A consistent and persistent worker with a competitive drive to succeed and win
  • Find it effortless and enjoyable to build relationships with people through confident and positive communication - especially via phone call, in person and on social media
  • Have an ability to manage other people effectively is an asset (admin staff and selected in-gym ambassador athletes)
  • Be active on social media, or at least competent in using it to interact and build relationships
  • Have the drive and desire to become integral to the success of a dynamic and rapidly growing company, joining an international team of likeminded individuals
  • A creative and entrepreneurial approach to sales - you constantly come up with new ways to build your business portfolio
  • An exercise science/science qualification or a good understanding of the science behind training and even supplementation would be ideal, but not necessary

Compensation:

You will receive a basic of $15/h for 5h/week. On top of this you will receive 10% of all sales up to target and 20% of all sales above target. You can expect to make on target earnings of over $50 an hour.

There is a minimum requirement of 5h/week work time. Work hours are for you to decide, but you will have to meet minimum sales targets.

You will be inheriting an existing portfolio of wholesale accounts that currently generates around a significant income.
