Jenna’s Favourite Blonyx Product’s: Beta Alanine and HMB+ Creatine
Although Jenna is no stranger to hard work, Jenna is relatively new to cycling. However, that doesn’t stop her from having the athletic ambition of qualifying for the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics.
Jenna has always felt the need to move her body on a daily basis. She competed in varsity track as a 400m sprinter. She didn’t feel satisfied ending her athletic career after graduating university and Jenna picked up triathlons with hopes of going pro.
After a chance offer to attend a bike fitness test, Jenna discovered she was one of the most powerful cyclists in the country. She decided to hang up her goggles and go all in on cycling. Only 4 months after first riding a track bike, Jenna competed in the 2016 Canadian Track Championships and won a gold medal.
Jenna was hooked on cycling, but unfortunately her journey to becoming a pro athlete had some setbacks. In 2018 she broke her leg in 4 different places but Jenna didn’t let this stop her. 3 months after learning to walk again, Jenna was ready to compete. She took home a gold medal in every race she competed in at provincials and a silver at nationals shortly after.
Jenna’s devastating injury was life changing and forced her to rethink her training. In addition to cycling, Jenna now regularly lifts weights. With her eyes on Paris 2024, she takes HMB+ Creatine to help recover from her grueling schedule while also improving her strength. Jenna also takes Beta Alanine which increases her muscular endurance.
